Long before Joplin’s began providing high quality AC repair in Dallas, area around present-day Dallas was under Spanish rule until Mexico declared independence from Spain in 1821. In 1836, inhabitants of the area broke away from Mexico and formed the Republic of 德州. In 1839, John Neely Bryan became one of the first settlers to survey part of the land around the Trinity River. Bryan originally planned to establish a trading post along the river, but he eventually decided to establish a new town and invited people from nearby Bird’s Fort to build permanent homes in the new settlement. The new town began to thrive, and it soon became known as Dallas. 德州 became a state in 1845, and 达拉斯县 was formed the following year. In 1850, Dallas officially became the county seat and was incorporated in 1856.
